June 23 is Palashi Day

  1. On 23 June 1757, the Nawab of independent Bengal was defeated by the British East India Company at the Battle of Palashi Mango Garden. As a result, Bengal lost its independence for about 200 years.

Every year for that reason 23rd June is celebrated as Palashi Day. On this day in 1757, Robert Clive, Mir Zafar, Raydurlav, Ghaseti Begum, Yar Latif gave birth to this black day in the Palashi desert. The day is a name stigmatized in the pages of history.

Let us all love Bangladesh and build it as a golden Bengal. We work shoulder to shoulder to protect the sovereignty of the country. Let us not be traitors.

We are enjoying all the civic benefits of an independent country. Bangladesh does not want to be a witness of history like Mir Zafar by any action against the interests.

Everyone sang in unison “My golden Bengali” I love you ”

All will be well. God will help us.
